At Cerro Paine Reserve, we are committed to making Torres del Paine Park a sustainable destination.
AMA Torres del Paine
It is an NGO that was created in 2004 within the former Estancia Cerro Paine ranch. Its aim is to help preserve the natural and cultural resources of the Torres del Paine municipality in the Chilean Magallanes Region.
Today, it is a non-profit community organization that aims to minimize human impact on the environment while ensuring that our natural and cultural reserve becomes a worldwide model for sustainable tourism.
Environmental education camps, reforestation, trail work, research and much more. You can see some of our work here.
If you would like to learn more about AMA’s projects or become a volunteer, visit our website: Visit the website.
There is a nursery inside our reserve to help restore the native forest of Torres del Paine National Park.
This nursery is run by AMA Torres del Paine, thanks to the work of volunteers who care for the seedlings that will later be planted by other volunteers and/or students from the Magallanes Region.
Come to our Welcome Center and ask about how you can help us by sponsoring one (or several) of these future trees.
